ABOUT APRIL.
April J. Perrymore, is a licensed psychologist in PA and NY who owns a psychological practice in Philadelphia, PA. Her clients are adolescents, adults and couples navigating a variety of life challenges, but she specializes in working with small business owners and entrepreneurs to develop and reach their personal and professional goals.
For ten years she taught psychology at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA where she had experiences with the first crop of Generation Y college students. She was impressed by their amazing strengths as well as the challenges they presented. A lot was learned during office hours when her students would stop by to share their college and life experiences with her. April spent a good deal of her advising time transitioning these Gen Ys into "the real world". Now that Generation Y is in full force in workplace, she feels strongly about directing her time away from the academic world to coaching businesses on how invest in this generation and maximize their potential.
April has a Psy.D. in clinical psychology and M.S. in clinical health psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has a M.A. in clinical psychology from Loyola College and a B.A. in psychology from Cabrini College. April is a board member and the chair of programming for Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists, and a member of the American Psychological Association, National Association of Cognitive Therapy, as well as a Registrant of the National Register of Psychologists.
